LINE FOLLOWER ROBOTICS CHAMPIONSHIP

Line Follower Robotics Championship

Build your own autonomous robot within specified dimensions to achieve maximum speed to beat the robot on the given arena. The Robot must follow the back line.

 Match will be played by a single team in one go, each team consisting of 1 Autonomous Robot.

Guidelines to Follow: -

  • The Participating team should consist of 1-8 members; team size should not increase by more than 8 members & register the team for the specified competition online on the official Tech radiance website
  • Participating team should have their Robotic Kit, (provided during the workshop)
  • Participants from different schools/institutions can form a team
  • Participants can be from different Batches, Branches, or Years.
  • Prepare a video of 1 minute to 5 minutes (maximum 100MB), showcasing team readiness, creativity, preparing for challenges, or anything to show passion to participate in tech radiance National Championship. 
  • Share the videoeither by email at contact@techradiance.in  (via Google drive or V transfer) or via What Sapp at +91 7015568312 mentioning Your Team Name & School Name. All videos will be uploaded on Tec radiance YouTube channel. The top 10 Maximum views will have special recognition at the tournament.
  • 500+ students to participate in the Line Follower challenge.
  • All participants will get a certification of Participation from “Tech radiance with Élan n Vision IIT Hyderabad
  • Worth INR 100,000 to be awarded to winning teams.

Eligibility Criteria: -

  • All the Participants who have achieved 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th position and have merit Certificate in the Zonal Rounds of TECHRADIANCE championships held all over India are eligible to register for the Closed Rounds of the TECHRADIANCE Final Round.

  • All the Participants who participated in the Zonal Rounds (have participation Certificates) are eligible to participate in the open rounds of the competition.

  • All interested and keen participants can register for the open round.

Competition Details: –

  • Venue: IIT Hyderabad Campus (IITH Road, Near NH-65, Sanga Reddy, Kandi, Telangana 502285)

Entry Fees (For Tech radiance participants):

  • For Indian residents: INR 250/- (Inclusive GST) per student.
  • For Non-India residents: USD 20 per student.

Registration Fees for open round: –

  • For Indian residents: INR 550/- (Inclusive GST) per student.
  • For Non-India residents: USD 30 per student.

Registration mode: Online.

Accommodation: Hospitality Partners would provide accommodation at a very affordable cost

DAY 1(15th April)-

Each zonal level winner’s team will be participating in a written quiz competition for which one hour time will be given to all the teams. One set of question papers for each team (2-8 members) is allowed to participate in this round. Candidates have to submit the answer sheet strictly after the given time instructions on the question paper. Questions will be related to the technology they are competing for and topics discussed during the training/workshop program in the school/college. General knowledge and current affairs related to technology may be asked in the question paper of this round.

Project presentation should be done individually. Time duration of 30 minutes will be given to the teams to prepare for their presentation. Project to be presented by anyone of the team member or members. Stage 2(on the spot practical task assigned) and limited time period (45-60minutes) will be given to each team individually to show accurate and desired output. Accuracy, time management, discipline and team work will be the major factors to score points.

AT THE END OF DAY 1 ASSESSMENT OF BOTH THE ROUNDS WILL BE DONE (BY TRAINERS) AND TEAMS QUALIFYING FOR FINAL ROUND WILL BE ANNOUNCED NEXT DAY.

DAY 2(16th April)-

Final Round-

Each team will be asked to perform the practical task in front of all participants in this round. Practical task given on the spot to the teams related to technology competing for. Specific time will be given to each team to perform for their outputs as a team in front of all participants. In this particular round the task will be given according to the practical’s covered in the school/college during the workshop. The time management, team work and accuracy of the output will be the major scoring factors for this round.

TRAINERS AND EVENT CO-ORDINATORS WILL DECIDE THE NATIONAL LEVEL JUNIOR WINNERS FROM SCORES AND JUDGEMENTS FROM STAGE 1 & STAGE 2 IN FINAL ROUND.

Note: -Teams to carry their own tool kit, laptops and other accessories (hardware/software) needed to compete for the Finale.
