INNOVATION CHALLENGE

Innovation Challenge: -

Techradiance is dedicated to fostering innovation and technical prowess among the youth. Following our moto Innovation Challenge provides a robust platform for aspiring minds to showcase their ideas, concepts, and initiatives, competing against each other to be acknowledged and celebrated. We believe in nurturing futuristic, creative, original, and sustainable projects that have the potential to reshape the technological landscape. Guidelines to Follow: -

  • The Participating team should consist of 1-6 members, team size should not increase by more than 6 members & register the team for the specified competition online on the official Tech radiance website
  • Participating team should have their prototype of project.
  • Participants should be from same schools/institutions form a team.
  • Participants can be from different Batches, Branches, or Years.
  • Prepare a video of 1 minute to 5 minutes (maximum 100MB), showcasing team readiness, creativity, preparing for challenges, or anything to show passion to participate in tech radiance National Championship. 
  • Share the video either by email at contact@techradiance.in (via Google drive or V transfer) or via WhatsApp at +91-7015568312 mentioning your team’s name and school name. All videos will be uploaded on Tecradiance YouTube channel. The top 10 Maximum views will have special recognition at the tournament.

Eligibility Criteria: -

  • Key Highlights:

    • 500+ students to participate in the INNOVATION Challenge.
    • All participants will get a Certificate of Participation from Techradiance in association with Techfest IIT Bombay.
    • Worth INR 100,000 to be awarded to winning teams.

    Topics Acceptable: 

    Solar & Smart Energy Systems, Robotics, IoT, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Web or Android Applications, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Big Data, Cryptography, or any other relevant field, we welcome your ingenuity. Prepare yourself to join the League of Innovations by aligning your projects with the evolving demands of various sectors.

    Start-ups and individual participants with entrepreneurial ideas are equally invited to join us. Display your creative concepts and increase your chances of global acknowledgment on the largest innovation platform.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Closed Rounds: Participants who secured positions from 1st to 3rd and hold Merit Certificates in the Zonal Rounds of Techradiance Championships across India are eligible for registration in the Closed Rounds of the Techradiance Final Round.
    • Open Rounds: Participants with participation certificates from the Zonal Rounds are eligible to compete in the Open Rounds and all enthusiasts and interested individuals are encouraged to register for the Open Round, regardless of prior participation.

    Entry Fees (For Techradiance Zonal Winners):

    • For Indian Residents: INR 300/- (Inclusive GST) per student.
    • For Non-India Residents: USD 30 per student.

    Registration Fees for Open Round:

    • For Indian residents: INR 550/- (Inclusive GST) per student.
    • For non-India residents: USD 40 per student.

    Accommodation: Our Hospitality Partners offer accommodation at highly competitive rates, and we can provide suggestions for your convenience. However, participants are free to make their own independent arrangements as they see fit.

     

Day 1 (6th April)

Presentation Round -

The presentation round will consist of 2 stages.

Stage 1: Each team will present their project in the form of a PowerPoint/PDF presentation within a 5-minute time frame. Teams participating in the Innovation Challenge are requested to come prepared with their project presentations.

Subsequently, in Stage 2, teams will engage in an on-spot practical demonstration with a limited time window of 5 minutes. The evaluation criteria will encompass factors such as project readiness, suitability for addressing real-life challenges, technical complexity, time management, and teamwork. Points or grades will be awarded based on the performance in these area

Final Round(7th April)

Teams advancing from the Quiz Competition and Stage 2 termed as ‘Task Completion’ will progress to the subsequent Final Round. Here, teams will be assigned a task to accomplish within a specified time frame. The team demonstrating the most efficient completion of the on-spot task with minimum time utilization will be declared the competition winner. This 

Scoring and Judgement:

Scoring and judgment throughout all stages will be carried out by event coordinators and technical evaluators, and their decisions will determine the final winners at the national level. 

Please Note: The judges’ verdict will stand as the ultimate authority in declaring the National-Level Innovation Challenge Champions.



 Evaluation: -

The participants will give a presentation on their projects to the jury, complete with a working model and any accompanying documentation. The jury will then evaluate the projects based on the criteria outlined in the previous section. Awards and recognition will be bestowed upon the initiatives that demonstrate the most innovation.

In addition, participants would get the chance to demonstrate their initiative in front of delegates, investors, and officials from the government.

• The projects need to be operational and able to provide evidence of their functioning, as well as all of the essential data and supporting papers.

• The project will be evaluated based on a number of criteria, including the extent of its future potential, innovation, originality, and distinctiveness.
