INNOVATION CHALLENGE

Innovation Challenge: -

The purpose of Innovation is to encourage the development of abilities in youth and all those who want to work in technical fields by providing a powerful platform on which to present one’s ideas and to be acknowledged for them. The initiatives, ideas, and concept that the participants have developed are expected to compete against one another. 

Guidelines to Follow: -

The purpose of INNOVATIONS is to encourage the development of abilities in youth and all those who want to work in technical fields by providing a powerful platform on which to present one’s ideas and to be acknowledged for them. The initiatives, ideas, and concepts that the participants have developed are expected to compete against one another. We are interested in any initiatives or concepts that are futuristic, creative, original, or sustainable. Projects that have the potential to disrupt the present path that technology is on will be given priority for funding. These projects should be in tune with the demands of the various sectors. Therefore, prepare yourself and sign up to become a member of the League of INNOVATIONS.

Topics Include: – Solar & Smart Energy System, Robotics & Automation, IoT based projects, Cloud based projects, Machine learning projects, Artificial Intelligence Projects, Web applications, android applications, Cyber security, Block chain, Big data, Cryptography, etc.

Start-ups and participants who have ideas for start-ups are both welcome to join in order to display their creative ideas and concepts and to increase their chances of having such ideas and concepts acknowledged on a worldwide scale on the biggest innovation platform.

Eligibility Criteria: -

  • All the Participants who have achieved 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th position and have merit Certificate in the Zonal Rounds of TECHRADIANCE championships held all over India are eligible to register for the Closed Rounds of the TECHRADIANCE Final Round.

  • All the Participants who participated in the Zonal Rounds (have participation Certificates) are eligible to participate in the open rounds of the competition.

  • All interested and keen participants can register for the open round.

Competition Details: –

  • Venue: IIT Hyderabad Campus (IITH Road, Near NH-65, Sanga Reddy, Kandi, Telangana 502285)

Entry Fees (For Tech radiance participants):

  • For Indian residents: INR 250/- (Inclusive GST) per student.
  • For Non-India residents: USD 20 per student.

Registration Fees for open round: –

  • For Indian residents: INR 550/- (Inclusive GST) per student.
  • For Non-India residents: USD 30 per student.

Registration mode: Online.

Accommodation: Hospitality Partners would provide accommodation at a very affordable cost

Day 1 (15 April)

Quiz Competition: -

All teams have to participate in the first round of the competition which will be a Quiz format, all the teams have to complete a questionnaire which will be testing the knowledge and skills of the teams on a particular topic on which they did the workshop. 

The winners of this stage will be selected on the basis of highest correct answers given by a team.

Task Competition:-

Presentation of project made by each team to be done individually. Time duration of 30 minutes will be given to the teams to prepare for the presentation of their project to be presented by any team member or members. Stage 2(on spot practical task) and limited time period (45-60minutes) will be given to each team individually to show accurate and desired output. Accuracy, time management, discipline and team work will be the major factors to score point. 

Day 2 (16th April)

Final Round

Top teams will be selected from the Quiz competition; will qualify to the next Round which is ‘Task Completion”. Teams will be allotted a Task to complete. The team who will be able to complete the task the in minimum time and most efficiency will be will be the Winner of the Competition. 

SCORES AND JUDGEMENT OF STAGE 1 & STAGE 2 OF FINAL ROUND BY THE TRAINERS AND OTHER EVENT CO-ORDINATORS WILL DECIDE THE NATIONAL LEVEL  WINNERS. 

Note: -Teams to carry their own tool kit, laptops and other accessories (hardware/software) needed to compete at the Finale. 

 Evaluation: -

The participants will give a presentation on their projects to the jury, complete with a working model and any accompanying documentation. The jury will then evaluate the projects based on the criteria outlined in the previous section. Awards and recognition will be bestowed upon the initiatives that demonstrate the most innovation.

In addition, participants would get the chance to demonstrate their initiative in front of delegates, investors, and officials from the government.

• The projects need to be operational and able to provide evidence of their functioning, as well as all of the essential data and supporting papers.

• The project will be evaluated based on a number of criteria, including the extent of its future potential, innovation, originality, and distinctiveness.
